Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026
Bud is a notepad-first workout tracker. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain: we collect the minimum needed to run the app.
Information We Collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and, depending on your settings, your name and email address. We use these to create and secure your account.
- Workout data. The notes, sets, exercises, and progress you log in the app. This is the core content that makes Bud useful to you.
- Profile details. Optional information you provide during onboarding, such as your goals, training frequency, and body metrics, used to personalize your experience.
- Usage and device data. Basic diagnostic and analytics information (such as app version, device type, and crash reports) to keep the app stable and improve it.
- Purchase information. Subscription status is managed through the App Store and our payments provider, RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
How We Use Your Information

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and service.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.
