Last updated: July 14, 2026
These Terms of Use (this "EULA") govern your use of Bud, a notepad-first workout tracker. By downloading or using Bud, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Bud on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules. This license does not allow you to redistribute, resell, or reverse engineer the app.
Subscriptions & Billing
- What you get. Bud Pro is an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks the app's full feature set.
- Plans and pricing. Bud Pro is offered on a monthly and a yearly plan. The current title, length, and price of each plan are shown in the app before you purchase and on your App Store confirmation screen.
- Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Bud only for lawful purposes and not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in an unauthorized way. Bud provides fitness and progress-tracking tools for general informational purposes and is not a substitute for professional medical or fitness advice.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the workouts, notes, and other content you log in Bud. You are responsible for the content you create. We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Bud is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements. Always consult a qualified professional before beginning any exercise program.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bud and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the app.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Bud if you violate these terms. You may stop using the app at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
